Aluminum and aluminum alloy workpieces are used as anode and other aluminum plates as cathode after surface degreasing and other pretreatment processes. Dilute sulfuric acid (or chromic acid) solution is used as electrolyte. In the process of anodizing, the oxide film is composed of Al₂O₃ and Al203 · H20. The hardness of the oxide film is relatively low. Due to the inhomogeneity of the film and the dissolution of the acid electrolyte to the film, the porous layer is formed. The electrolyte reaches the aluminum surface through the loose hole and the oxide film on aluminum substrate grows continuously.The results show that the oxide film formed by anodic oxidation is firmly combined with metal crystals, thus greatly improving the corrosion resistance of metals and their alloys, and enhancing the surface resistance and insulation properties

Application
